We can offer advice on the type of vehicle that may best suit your requirements and then we can guide you through all of the options available for the fit out of the van. All of the work is carried out in house and we take care of everything for you from selecting timber colours right through to upholstery, supplying samples and creating mood boards we help you along every step of the journey.

Case Study Renault Master Mini Bus

The vehicle shown below we purchased privately it was previously on lease to Cumbria County Council and was used as a community welfare van. Its was a 14 seater mini bus with a wheel chair lift at the back of the vehicle. The van had very low mileage 74,000 miles and had and fantastic service history. We turned this vehicle into a four birth fully off grid campervan, complete with solar panels, inverter, fully equipped bathroom with WC and shower. The kitchen was complete with double gas hob, sink and microwave. The van also had panoramic tinted windows. Below we show some pictures during its conversion

Case Study Renault Master

This was a vehicle that we purchased as a conversion project of our own. A Renault Master Mini Bus which had been in Lease to Cumbria County Council for the last 10 years. The van came with 14 passenger seats with a side sliding door and a disabled wheel chair lift to the rear. The body work needed some repairs but was generally in good condition, it had very low mileage on the van 71,000 miles considering the registration date was 2010. The Conversion Story in Pictures

With the entire vehicle stripped out and a blank canvas in view we began the process of insulating the van in deciding where everything would be. We then installed the Captains Chairs and started to plan the interior of the van first fixing wires and pipes as required and then building templates out of plywood and slowly the interior began to take shape.

Floor Planning Begins

With the van completely stripped out and the barrier insulation applied to the interior metal of the van. We then insulated the floor and fitted 25mm ply to the entire floor area once this was complete we could then start planning the space and laying out where things we going to be placed.

Hot Water Heat

10 litre hot water heater is installed. This type of heater is duel fuel it can work from 240 V mains power to heat the water or if your camping off grid is can also use LPG. It has a small 12 pump installed along side the unit and stores 10 litres of hot water. We installed the heater under the bed as its hidden out of the way and it will also provide welcome heat under the mattress.
